Use of these WWII photos

Many of the pictures in the O. Howard Davidsmeyer collection are public domain (signal corps photos). However, some are privately taken photos which are under copyright.

Web site use:

If you run a non-commercial website (sites with affiliate programs are okay), you do not need to inquire for use of a few photos for your site as long as you provide a link to this website below each picture and the following credit line, "Photo courtesy of the Lt. Col. O. H. Davidsmeyer collection." Copy the images to your site, do not link directly to photos. I would appreciate it if you email me and provide the web site where the photos are used so that I can visit it and perhaps provide a reciprocal link to your site. 

Please do not copy large numbers of these photos to your web site, instead link to the appropriate pages on this web site (you can frame the pages within your site if you like).

For publication projects, if you are interested in the signal corps photos we can provide high resolution (300 dpi) scans in JPG format for a scanning fee of $35.00 per photo. We appreciate you providing us a photo credit in your publication.
